Matic Furniture is an Australian owned and operated furniture importer and manufacturer, servicing the Australian market since 1973. Based in Wetherill Park, NSW Matic operates from a 3000m2 state of the art manufacturing facility and warehouse, with a strong national distribution network.

Matic has grown exponentially into a leading furniture manufacturer and importer in Australia – offering a wide range of furniture to the office, healthcare, hospitality, educational and domestic markets. Specialising in commercial seating and table solutions with the distinct advantage of in house upholstery and fabrication facilities to meet custom requirements on- shore.

We attribute our longevity and ongoing success in the market to our focus on innovative designs, quality manufacturing and most importantly our passionate commitment to customer service. Terms and Conditions of Sale

Matic Furniture is a wholesaler so the attached Terms and Conditions of Sale relate to transactions between Matic Furniture and a Matic Furniture Distributor.

Delivery

Orders will be delivered to a Matic distributors’ warehouse or place of business within the Sydney region via road and at the discretion of Matic Furniture. Any other method of transport or to areas outside of Sydney metro will be at the customers’ expense.

Matic can arrange transport directly to end users on behalf of a distributor at the distributors expense, contact us to make an enquiry or request a quote.

Warranty Statement

Warranty Period: Matic Furniture provides a minimum of 1 year warranty on all goods from purchase date (subject to terms outlined in the Matic Furniture Warranty & Notice to Consumers document). Refer to individual product warranty periods as many products within the Matic range have extended warranty periods.

In the event that the date of manufacture and our company identification has been removed or tampered with and proof of purchase is not provided the warranty becomes null and void.

Quality Guarantee

Matic Furniture has been in operation for over 42 years, under current ownership since 1993. Servicing the Australian market with quality goods for the duration of operation.

Matic Furniture operate with strict quality control standards both in their Australian manufacturing operations but also in conjunction with third party suppliers supplying parts and components and some finished goods to Matic Furniture.

All goods are inspected and tested at time of manufacture, assembly and again prior to dispatch.

Matic Furniture prides themselves of the manufacture and provision of quality goods and has check points at each stage of production to ensure the goods a Distributor and in turn an end user receives from Matic Furniture is produced to specification with the highest quality standards.

Matic conduct ongoing research and development into their current range and expanding range to continually improve product features and quality to suit the dynamic Australian market.

Environmental Statement

Matic Furniture operate with an environmental conscience, taking responsibility for sustainable management and working actively to ensure all efforts are taken to minimize negative effects on the environment.

Our green strategies to ensure continual improvement focus on:

  • Reusing all packaging materials such as pallets, boxes and alike for internal storage and transportation of goods to reduce manufacturing and packaging waste.
  • Manufacturing goods using naturally recyclable materials like steel, chipboard, recyclable plastics.
  • Use recycled plastics for some components particularly in areas where the quality and strength of the item would not be affected.
  • Check and maintain all manufacturing machinery and vehicles on a regular basis so as to ensure they are operating at optimum efficiency. Purchase machinery and vehicles that are rated highly in terms of efficiency.
  • Conduct regular warehouse safety and efficiency checks through a third party provider.
  • Designing and producing goods that can take advantage of minimal raw materials and greater use of recyclable resources.
  • Encouragement of all staff to conduct their work with an environmental conscience, minimising wastage and operating efficiently at all times.

Matic have taken steps to reduce our environmental impact and energy use by recently installing a 30KW solar generating power system, reducing electricity use by up to 45%. Following this trend we have also installed LED lighting throughout the complex, estimated to save a further 30% in energy use.
